Descent of the Guadiaro River, Malaga
Located next to the Natural Park of Los Alcornocales (the cork oak trees), this activity is designed for beginners in the world of canyoning as well as for those who are looking for spectacular scenery and a very complete adventure.
We will head to the most interesting source of the Guadiaro river and its spectacular gorge where we will start our adventures with jumps of up to 8 metres (optional), we will swim the long cliffs that reach up to 100 metres long and we will venture down the river to the village of El Colmenar de la Frontera.

About the Activity
We recommend that children be between 7 - 17 years old.
What level of swimming ability is required?
You don't need to be an expert swimmer. Life jackets guarantee buoyancy.
What clothes and shoes should children wear?
Comfortable clothes that can get wet, such as a swimsuit, short-sleeved shirt, and shoes that grip the rocks well (water shoes / flip-flops not allowed).
How long does the activity last?
The activity lasts approximately 3 hours.
What is the itinerary of the activity?
We will take a trip down the Guadiaro river, starting in the section of the river called "La Curva" and ending at the puddle of "Las Pepas" near the village of El Colmenar de la Frontera.
About the Organization
The price includes equipment rental (wetsuit, helmet and harness), a specialized guide and civil liability insurance.
What should I do if my child has any allergies or medical conditions?
Please inform us of any medical conditions or allergies your child may have when making a reservation.
What is the cancellation policy?
If you cancel less than 36 hours before the activity, you will have to pay the full price of the activity as we have already reserved your place, paid the insurance and the guide.

The meeting point will be at 10.30 am, in front of the bar-restaurant LAS FLORES.
About Safety
All participants will wear approved wetsuits and life jackets. We have staff trained in first aid and water rescue. In addition, we will give a prior talk on safety rules.
What is the child-to-monitor ratio?
We maintain a ratio of 1 monitor for every 12 children, ensuring constant supervision.
What happens in case of an emergency?
We have an established emergency protocol and a first aid kit on board. In case of any incident, we will immediately contact emergency services and parents.
