Guadalmina Canyon, in Marbella/Malaga: the narrowest Canyon
The Guadalmina canyon (called also The Narrowest Gorge) is located in the village of Benahavis, very close to Marbella. Is the perfect canyon for initiation to canyoning and enjoying a great experience during your summer vacation or any day of the year even winter season.
Perfect Canyon for Families or Friends
It is our most popular and requested activity as is the ideal canyoning for groups of friends, families and for those who want to do a half day program (3 hours). From June 15th to September 15th we do this canyon trip every day with open groups and special offers or, if you prefer, we can do private groups (open groups are between 6 and 9 participants, private 1 to unlimited).
In this wonderful natural surroundings, you will learn the basic progression techniques for canyoning accessible to all. This canyon is also adaptable to those who want additional adrenaline experience with jumps up to 6 meters (not mandatory) to deep pools in an idyllic location surrounded by mountains. Those who still don´t feel daring enough for the small jumps, will be able to opt for a fun toboggan, and abseiling of 5 metres or just swimming along the different pools (…). As we make progress, the gorge will narrow showing us a landscape we could never have imagined.

Meeting point: parking area, next to the Torre Leonera Park, on Avenida Fiscal Luis Portero García in Benahavis village.
More about Guadalmina
The meeting point for this canyoning trip is just a 25-minute drive from Marbella center or Estepona. In front of La Leonera park you can easily park. Our guides await you there with wetsuits and technical equipment. You have a public service available at this point if you need it.
After the presentation, the beginning of the ravine is just 5 minutes walk from the parking lot. We will start the trip with a technical explanation of the security measures and how to progress in this sport. And … let’s go with the first jumps 3-5 metres jumps and a slide in the first natural pool. About 2h15 of fun and surprises await you. The return is made on foot and it takes approximately 15 minutes.
The Perfect Gorge in Marbella/Benahavis
If you are coming in raining season this canyon trip has a special extra component of adventure and level. It is a good canyoning to do in raining season.
And if you have more time, you want to enjoy a level 2 or 3 canyoning and look for a full day experience we have others canyoning trips available such as Buitreras (The Cathedral) and the spectacular Río Verde in its normal or x-pro version (on the coast of Almuñecar). Tajo Ronda canyon is also available for those who have good sport level or have already abseiling (in private tour).
With 4 friends a great experience. The tour is great and the guide has done his utmost to make the experience even more enjoyable. Definitely a ‘must’ on the bucket list if you stay in the Marbella area. I should definitely recommend this tour!.
