The river of my childhood
I have the privilege of being the descendant of a father who was born in the village of ‘La Estación de Gaucín’ and a mother who was born in the heart of the Alcornocales Natural Park. From emigrant parents, we travelled every summer to the village of my parent’s birth where I spent all my time running through the small streets, doing all the mischief that my boundless energy allowed me to do and obviously bathing every day in the different sections of the river.
It is definitely one of the most wonderful places on the planet and in Andalusia. Few villages can boast one of the most beautiful rivers, with beaches, long natural pools and a riverside setting like this little white mountain village.
And the enclave, unbeatable, surrounded by mountains on all four sides, it looks like an untouchable island that has withdrawn from the materialistic world in which we live.
I encourage you to visit it, relax there and stay for several days.

With 4 friends a great experience. The tour is great and the guide has done his utmost to make the experience even more enjoyable. Definitely a ‘must’ on the bucket list if you stay in the Marbella area. I should definitely recommend this tour!.
