What to bring?
- Comfortable sports clothes: sport or hiking shoes, stretch trousers, T-shirt or thermal T-shirt, windbreaker jacket, cap and sunglasses.
- Sandwich / snacks and water.
- For safety reasons, the presence of a parent/guardian is MANDATORY for children under the age of 10. The parent/child ratio should be 1 parent for every 4 children. If you can’t attend, you can ask another parent/guardian to accompany your child (please indicate in the comments section the name of the person who will accompany your child).

Discover the Art of Orienteering: A Family Game in Nature
Map reading is a skill that is fast disappearing, but at the same time the BISM Outdoor Club is determined to keep it alive.
Orienteering is a fun way to learn and develop our skills in the mountains, and the Juanar Forest is the ideal place for it: with its paths, gentle slopes, forests and corners.
What is an orienteering race?
We organise a family competition in teams. The aim is to find as many beacons as possible and complete the course in the shortest time possible, using only a paper map and a real compass (no GPS or electronic devices allowed).
Ideal for children aged 9 and over, and particularly motivating for children aged 10 and 13.

About the Organization
The price includes: Professional Guides, Equipment (map and compass for each team), Liability and accident insurance.
What should I do if my child has any allergies or medical conditions?
Please inform us of any medical conditions or allergies your child may have when making a reservation.
What is the cancellation policy?
If you cancel less than 36 hours before the activity, you will have to pay the full price of the activity as we have already reserved your place, paid the insurance and the guide.
Where will the activity take place?
The activity will take place in the Juanar Forest, near Ojén. The meeting point is in Parking Refugio del Juanar
What time is the meeting point?
The meeting time will be at 10.30 am
Please note that you have to be 15 min before the meeting time.
About Safety
We have staff trained in first aid and water rescue. In addition, we will give a prior talk on safety rules.
What is the child-to-monitor ratio?
We maintain a ratio of 1 monitor for every 10 children, ensuring constant supervision. The participation of parents or guardians IS MANDATORY for this activity.
What happens in case of an emergency?
We have an established emergency protocol and a first aid kit on board. In case of any incident, we will immediately contact emergency services and parents.
